Be Gentle: When caring for your Elegant Icon Hair, rather its brushing or styling be gentle to prevent the hair from falling out. If you would like to brush your hair use a soft-bristle brush or a Elegant Icon Wig brush, (can be purchase on site) start at the bottom of the hair and work your way up.

Washing: Wash your Elegant Icon Hair with moisturizing hair products, because your hair isn’t getting the natural oils from your scalp as your real hair does this will prevent from drying out.

Heat: Use a heat protectant on your Elegant Icon Hair when using any type of heated tool for hair. This will reduce heat damage to the hair.

Deep Conditioning: Use a deep conditioner as often as once a week. Carefully put your hair in lukewarm water and apply desired amount recommended of conditioner all over your Elegant Icon Hair. Let stand for 10-15 minutes rinse and air dry. ( you can use a blow dryer but this will be a risk of heat damage) You can use the dryer on cool setting if desire.

Trimming: Treat your Elegant Icon Hair as if its your own hair. Hair extensions get split ends as well, cut ends 6-10 weeks to prevent splitting or shedding. (this is if you were your hair often)

All hair sheds, Elegant Icon Hair is soft with minimum shedding if cared for properly by the advice above.
